About
Lizzy Bishop, MAEd, LPCC
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate whatever life’s throwing your way. I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, first
responders, postpartum/pertinal wellness and people facing challenges like trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), EMDR, and person-centered techniques—always tailored to fit you. I believe in a holistic and individualistic approach, and I do my best to
meet people exactly where they are. Together, we’ll work toward creating a life that feels meaningful, manageable, and uniquely yours.
I earned my MAEd in Clinical Counseling from Malone University, and I've been honored to support many individuals through their personal journeys of growth and healing.
Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time in my garden, being out in nature, hiking, reading, and hanging out with my pets. (They’re usually the best listeners, right?)
If you’re ready to start your journey—or
even just curious about what that might look
like—I’d love to connect.
